American multi-disciplinarian artist Cat Ellington contributes to the arts in three major branches: music, film, and literature. In literature, Cat Ellington, the founder of the book publishing house Quill Pen Ink Publishing, is the author of over two dozen books, including the notable Reviews by Cat Ellington series and Memoirs in Gogyohka, among other titles in the Cat Ellington™ Literary Collection (in creation since 1979, the year a then 8-year-old Cat wrote her first book review, a one-and-a-half-paragraph analysis of Eleanor Clymer's classic tale, "Hamburgers and Ice Cream for Dessert," under the tutelage of a librarian mentor), and the Cat Ellington™ Poetry Collection. Cat Ellington founded Quill Pen Ink Publishing in 2005.

In music, Cat Ellington, the founder of the music publishing house The Black Jaguar Music Company, is an award-winning songwriter/composer and producer whose song catalog, built since 1981, when the then 10-year-old Cat wrote her first song, "The Baby's Song," spans 24 genres. The Black Jaguar Music Company is home to—and the sole publisher of—the Cat Ellington™ Song Catalog. Cat Ellington founded The Black Jaguar Music Company in 1982.

American multi-disciplinarian artist Cat Ellington contributes to the arts in three major branches: music, film, and literature. In the motion picture industry, the executive casting director, through The Centaur Casting Agency, in association with Vital Vision Productions, LLC, works with directors and film producers in the casting seat. Ellington's job is to select principal and supporting cast members for feature films; a role that launched her professional film career in 1993, when she was 22 years old, working alongside award-winning filmmaker Joseph Strickland on his directorial debut, "Dual Mania." Incidentally, Ellington's contributions to film also include her work as a film production assistant and voice-over actress. Cat Ellington founded The Centaur Casting Agency in 1996.
