Happy 34th Birthday to the Cat Ellington™ Song Catalog!
As many of you already know from my earlier postings on the "About Me" and the "My Song Catalog" pages, January 15th is a very special day for me, as it marks the anniversary of the date on which I wrote my very first song: "The Baby's Song." That work came into being on this date in 1981, and I post today in a spirit of (great) humility. I've been working in the craft of songwriting for thirty years, my dear men and women. And I LOVE it! The Lord has bestowed upon me a great wisdom in this particular craft, and he is worthy of all praise, reverence, and honor. Believe you me. ;) Lovingly, Cat

"On The Go" was just the perfect title to fit the mood of that particular composition. Congrats, VA, on the success of "Turn It Up". Talk to you soon. All love, Cat (NOTE) Since this posting, Vandell Andrew's "Turn It Up" EP has topped the Billboard Jazz charts. Included with that is VA's nomination for a 201
